Shapes & Sizes

Our dog clothes are available in a variety of sizes and shapes to suit your dog just like all our dog coats and dog fleeces. You can utilize the same size charts, and please note that our styles and sizes names have changed in order to simplify the measurements. Please be aware that different dog clothes in the UK use different sizing so it is important to follow our own Dogsnug charts

A few examples:

Sighthounds

If you have bought Dogsnug Italian Greyhound clothes, Greyhound jumpers, Whippet coats or jumpers from us in the past, the style name has changed from Deep Chested to SLEEK; and the sizes are the back length in inches, so for example, a previous XL Deep Chest Lurcher coat is now a SLEEK 27"

Dachshunds

If you purchased our Dachshund coats and jumpers previously, the style name has now changed from Long & Slim to just LONG, and a previous S Long & Slim for a mini dachshund jumper is now LONG 15"

Classic

If you have one of our Classic dog clothes for cockapoos or spaniels, french bulldog clothes or pug clothes, please notice that the style name has changed from Barrel to BROAD, so for example a previous XL Barrel Chest for a standard Cockapoo is now a BROAD 19".

The back length reflects the measurement of your dog, not the length of the jumper.

When the weather starts to get damp and chilly and you’re bundled up in your finest seasonal fashions, make sure your faithful hound isn’t feeling the cold and rain either by treating them to one of the rainproof dog jumpers. Pet owners have told us how much they (and their doggos) love our dog fleece jumpers so we’ve gone a couple of paw prints further and added a Special Editions range, featuring all the properties of protecting from cold, rain and wind, and adding a little more design.

The Special Edition dog jumpers come in the same variety of cut as the regular jumper but it is made from limited edition colour combinations and fabrics. Of course, it’s just as stylish and has the same cosy, fleece inner lining to ensure that Fido not only stays dry but warm too.  As with the rest of Dogsnug’s products, our dog jumpers, for large and small dogs alike are designed by a fashion designer who just loves helping woman’s (and man's) best friend be the hippest dog on the block.

Look cool, stay warm and dry

Our handcrafted dog sweaters have been designed to fit dogs of different breeds perfectly, no matter what their shape or size. The patterns are cut three dimensionally so that the fabric follows the contours of your pup, and all our high grade fabrics are the same as those used to make hi-tech sports and outerwear for humans.

And because we know that some dogs aren’t thrilled about getting dressed up to venture out for a romp, we’ve made the waterproof jumpers sleeveless - making them super easy to put on and take off even the wriggliest of hairy hounds.  Plus, for added comfort and flexibility when your dog’s out and about, we’ve added stretchy ribbing on the edges, and around the neck and leg holes.  You can also fit a harness over the top of the jumper.

How to use

We also understand not all doggies are huge fans of getting dressed so we’ve designed the jumpers without sleeves, making them a piece of cake to put on and take off.  They also have stretchy ribbings at the neck, legs and edges for extra comfort and ease of movement. At Dogsnug we make functional products from highly technical (human!) outerwear and sportswear fabrics that allow your dog to be more comfortable and therefore happier.

Materials

Our London-based designer has a keen eye for human fashion trends and colours, so all you need to do is choose your four legged friend’s favourite colour (or failing that – your favourite colour!) and you’ll be all set to brighten up the day, no matter how gloomy the weather.
